Brief Biography

Ms Brewster is responsible for directing the day-to-day operations of the ATA Foundation, the research arm of the American Trucking Associations. In addition, Ms. Brewster manages a number of trucking industry research initiatives including serving as Principal Investigator for a Cooperative Agreement for Research between the ATA Foundation's Trucking Research Institute and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. Ms. Brewster also serves as Director of the National Incident Management Coalition (NIMC), a coalition of private and public sector organizations who have joined forces in recognition of the importance of incident management to reducing congestion and improving the operating efficiency of our nation's highways. In this capacity, she works with incident management stakeholders - FHWA, state DOTs, metropolitan planning organizations, state and local police, fire and rescue - to conduct educational and promotional conferences designed to build consensus for incident management programs and set the stage for these groups to work together to enhance their incident management initiatives.
