Transurban CityLink Brief Biography ![]() Ken is the Executive General Manager, Operations for Transurban City Link Limited. In this position he is responsible for the operation of the $2.2 billion CityLink Project - Australia's largest infrastructure project since the Snowy Mountains Scheme. Ken is a Civil Engineer with a Masters Degree from Monash University. He has been a professional engineer for over 25 years and has worked in both the private and public sectors. His early career, with the now VicRoads, involved him in traffic engineering and program development. Ken moved to the private sector in 1988 and soon became involved in the lobbying to get the CityLink project onto the political agenda. As Managing Director of the consulting group Acer Wargon Chapman, he saw the project evolve from a concept through to a commitment by both political parties. The Melbourne CityLink is now internationally recognised as a leader in electronic toll collection and ITS applications. Ken sees this platform as a perfect opportunity to develop these technologies and improve customer service and system usage. Contact Details
