Brief Biography

Soh Ling Tim graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering from the Nanyang Technological University in 1993. She joined the Roads and Transportation Division of the Public Works Department as an engineer in 1993, and when the Land Transport Authority was formed in 1995, she worked as a design engineer with the Roads Design Department. As part of her career development, Ling Tim was posted to work in the Transport Technology Department in 1998 and has since been involved in expressway incident management projects. Last year, she was promoted to Assistant Manager of the Department to oversee the development of incident management systems on expressways in Singapore.
